Prime Minister Mark Rutte has just announced that in the fight against the coronavirus, the ban on events will be extended until August 31, 2020. This has the direct consequence that the upcoming edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con, which was planned on July 4 & 5, 2020, cannot take place on this date.

This inevitable decision hurts. Not only for us as the organizing party, but without doubt also for exhibitors, partners, suppliers and the more than 40,000 enthusiastic visitors we would have liked to welcome. Every visitor has his own reason to go to Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Meeting special guests, buying merchandise, playing a video game with friends or enjoying the many impressive cosplayers that walk around the event. In short, Heroes Dutch Comic Con is a meeting place for like-minded people. The fact that this cannot be done now will be a huge disappointment for many of us.

At the same time, we look to the future with great optimism. The anniversary edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con will definitely take place at a later date. In the comings days, all ticket holders, exhibitors and other involved parties will receive an email containing all relevant information. Until then, we ask for your patience so that we can make all necessary preparations.

We look forward to the moment when we can meet again safely and share our passion. Take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
